Dutch stress filler is used to fill deeper damage such as cracks in flexible areas such as seating. Apply a small amount with a fine brush or toothpick and dry. More than one application may be required and once the depth of the damaged has been reduced you can also use (but not necessary) Aquafil to finish. Cracks in leather appear because the leather has dried out. Cracks can be of any depth and can have hard raised edges. It is worth trying to lightly sand the cracks to reduce the appearance and try to make them look like natural creases, this will reduce the amount of filler that’s applied. If sanding first we recommend using 800grit.
